Set in Meridian, Mississippi in 1963, The Color of Sound is the story of Benjamin Rolle. He is a photographer from New York who gets fired and takes a job that relocates him from Harlem to his childhood home of Meridian. Upon arriving in the town a girl from the wrong side of the tracks gets his attention and all hell breaks loose. In the racially segregated South of the times he committed a taboo that wouldn't be taken lightly. If you like period pieces and love a good story this one is for you!
